Love is Patient : Love is Kind

This quote is a good one to hold near, as a parent.

As you well know, parenting requires an immense amount of patience. It’s with patience that we can really attempt to understand our children’s perspective, hear what it is they need and respond versus react.

And in turn, quite honestly, when one is out of patience, kindness can be tough. Remember to always be as kind as you can be, in your parenting, as your kiddos are watching your every move. Listening to all the messages, explicit or implicit.

As their safest place, you want to show that love inherently brings both - patience and kindness. This takes awareness and attention. And, of course, presence, again and again.
