Quietude

Check the balance (in your life and) in your kiddos’ lives. How much constant, external input are they taking in? What percentage of their day is filled with noise? And what percentage of their day is quiet?

Afford your children the gift of more quiet time. There’s real meaning in the old saying ‘peace and quiet’. Quiet allows for peace inside.

In today’s loud, incessant and overwhelming tech world, our children are not granted the opportunity often enough, or ever, to sit still and just BE. In fact, many are downright uncomfortable with this. Afraid of unstructured time or of being bored.

Kids need to experience this more often so they can come back to being embodied. So they have the chance to reflect on their experiences, feel their feelings and get back in touch with their creativity.
