Jokes

Laughter is healing and connects us.

While raising littles, sometimes we forget this. And just how much our beautiful children, in all their silliness, know.

Parenting can get too serious, and we can get too consumed by the tasks of it all, especially that feeling of trying to ‘get it all in’, on weekday nights, right?

All kiddos love jokes. Even making them up - ha!

Whether it’s knock-knock jokes when they’re really little or longer, more complicated riddles as they get into upper elementary, remember to bring them into your world.

Go to your local second-hand bookstore and pick up some joke books. Set one on the coffee table so it’s there for anyone, anytime. Put one in the kitchen so you can pop a joke into the lunch you pack.

As far as kids are concerned, a joke is always a good idea. As far as connecting goes, a light lift.
