Sit on the Floor
In our busy lives, it’s hard to stop moving and be present with our little ones. They seem to be begging us to slow down and see them, every minute.
One practice that can quell both the nagging and the guilt you may feel for not feeling like you have time, is to sit down on the floor with them. For ten minutes a day. That’s it. Sit down and play with them. And do what they want to do.
It may not sound like a lot of time, or it might sound like time you don’t have. Either way, trust me - if you instill this practice, it will make a difference you all will feel and appreciate.
