Creative Clean-Up

With little ones at home, when tidying up at night before bed, or before the week starts, put the more popular games of late away in a different spot. Pull toys to the front, or maybe even out, that have been forgotten about. Mix things up so when it comes time to play again, your children rediscover what they may have missed or discover certain things anew, depending on their age. It’s subtle but works!

To encourage more imaginative play, set a few stuffies up having tea. Put a mask or a funny handkerchief around one’s neck and a hat on another’s head. Have two animals holding hands somewhere, maybe on a shelf they’ve been on before. Set up a scene of some kind - only takes a minute. Bring some silly into it and let your kiddos take it from there …
